What is the box of tricks your monitor is standing on?
Yeah the old eco-drive serves me well.
It is a Cambridge Audio AM5 stereo amp.

Castiel doesn't the amp get hot when in use and your monitor stand block the heat from the top vents? My NAD amp gets pretty hot and if I remember back from the 340R CA amp I had in the past, that too got pretty warm.
I'd recommend an Ergotron arm and then it can nicely "hover" above the amp allowing the vents to breathe!
I don't get these enormous mouse mats. Firstly they look crap as they cover all that nice wood or glass, secondly they're pointless as your keyboard does not benefit from a mouse mat.
It doesn't seem to get hot at all, the vents are only partially covered and there is plenty of ventilation other than that.
I have thought about an Ergotron arm, but most I've seen are for smaller monitors unless you want to spend a couple of hundred quid, which I don't particularly.

OKAY I MUST KNOW WHAT HAS BEEN CENSORED! :p
Castiel, do you happen to know where you got your lamp from and if it's still for sale?
Secret!
Did you know that some kind of temporal vortex is living on your desk??
I bought it from Very, it was £28.

It has a swivel head which comes in handy.
It replaced one (Huxley Table Lamp) from next which while nice, was a little too big.
