New car you will love or hate it, it a Saab 2.8T (300PS) Aero XWD

The thing about that picture is that it looks a little cramped, the interior is very large and this helps the general look of the dials etc especially on the centre console, Passenger side is a bit gloomy but has loads of leg room, but who care i dont sit there

I thought it was BMW F10 size. What mpg are you expecting?

Around 26 mpg but how i drive around 20 mpg im not the first owner and only had it today but trip computer showing average of 26.6. Yes you right same lenght as BMW F10, 7 series is 17 ft long my bad quoting sales rep sorry just checked

Lovely! Looks really great in that colour. I think these are very spec sensitive, the smaller wheels look wrong on these. Yours is nice,I would be well chuffed. Pretty quick to for such a big car.

That is an awful lot of money to spend on a reasonably new Saab - mainly because Saab is literally right on the edge of bankruptcy. Production has stopped several times in the last 2 months apparently due to them not being able to pay suppliers and numerous rescue deals have come to nothing.

It wont be around much longer and thus neither will the dealer network nor the warranty. Which is surely the point in spending £25k on a nearly new car...

This purchase reminds me very much of the idea of buying a 1 year old MG ZT in February 2005....

Good on you, excellent value for money!

I'm not a fan of this one, I've had a nosey around and the plastics still aren't good enough IMHO.
Having said that, for what you've got, it's brilliant. Enjoy it :D

Already looked into this there Chinese buyers keep backing out, they had an assurance from the Swedish goverment for backing, how that goes anyone knows, they just started productin again after 7 weeks.
As for keeping it on the road im going keep it for a bit so futher depreciation is not an issue, just getting a £42,000 car for half price 10 months on. If it goes all **** up there will be plenty of cheap parts on Ebay to keep her going lol

Understand where you coming from thou.

Fantastic Car

Saab aren't going anywhere - they've got the funding in place to ramp up production again, and they are selling cars. Not many, but they are selling them in thousands rather than tens like a couple of years ago.

Very nice, re-branding the Saab name much?

What's the performance like?

0 to 60 is 6.1 sec 330 bhp top speed 167, but if you know Saabs all there grunt is in the midrange for fast overtaking very fast, yes it is fast but it aint no M5 was never ment to be, was made to be a Buisness mans motorway plodder, sit back cruise with 11 dts speakers sounds amazing.

Not bad figures at all.

Sounds like a very decent purchase (excusing any potential -or guaranteed :p depreciation), and a very decent car all in all.

Only thing with Saab is that the interior wraps around the driver so when you in it, it looks a lot better (that cockpit feel) so thats why i guess they like loads of plastic to give that effect who knows, ive seen worse

very simular wheel to my astra, can also see some of the other buttons same too like the headlights and the eletric mirrors.
