No overlays, no steam... no mumble
It's been on and off like it for 3 weeks now, ping/jitter/speedtest are all good
I've just rage quit now after another stupid " kill assist " when i plowed the guys face in with an MG at point blank. Will play tomorrow or much later

I've not had any trouble lately. Had a shocking round earlier, 0-12 D/D....shocking.
Picked it up in the end though and finished off with some really good rounds.

Why does this game like to dump itself to desktop with annoying consistency? You can play a game and play an entire map no problems. Then you'll be playing another map the game seems to hang for a second or 2 (almost like a lag spike) and next thing you know you're back on the desktop.
Ive rarely ever seen a game as flaky as this thing, it just seems to pick and choose where to crap itself...

I've never found it to be that bad to be honest. Sure it does every now and again, but most games do, right?

maybe tomorrow when somebody is on mumble.Right now, this turd of a game is the only thing that does it. Every other game on my system runs flawlessly. This however it seems to be a miracle if you get through maybe 20 mins without the game tarding to desktop for no reason. Ive seen a thread with 72 pages devoted to this problem and there seems to be no real fix for it.
Bc2 is the only game i have problems with as well. I also own moh 2010, (same multiplayer engine as bc2), it runs flawlessly, and i run it on much higher settings than bc2. Its definitely got a lot worse in the last week or so.
Crashed out this evening after not having single crash for many days and with much longer sessions.
It might be the Gigabyte EasyTune application falling over the idiotic Punkbuster as I had that running from earlier when I wanted my fan speed at a certain speed for testing.
Was fine afterwards when I didn't have that application running.
This PB thing is really quite ridiculous, 3 months and it's still spazzing out with hardware monitoring apps.
Steam overlay is fine though, never had an issue with that. Mumble overlay doesn't seem to come on with BC2 for me, maybe it can't work over a Steam overlay.

I had a crash to desktop yesterday and today, also the game decided to minimize itself to the task bar while i was shooting at tealc!. Plus the third time in the last few days that i've been warping back and forth and seeing other players warp when ping and jitter are perfectly fine. Something is going wrong either with ea or pb in the last two weeks
i have a weird one when a random map starts it goes black 
its only at the start of the map and its random lol . ive found if i minimize then go back in game it will bring back the colour
very odd.
like ive said since games come out its the buggiest fps online but at the moment its the best new one.
only thing that's got me a bit bothered is bf3 is 64 man

Would be good for ocuk members as i tried to join earlier within 5mins it was full
Please don't implement this. VIP slots are one of (if not the) most annoying things to curse multiplayer game servers.
There is no need for them whatsoever, just wait 5 or 10 minutes and you'll get in.

I've had the minimise to taskbar a handful of times. Not quite sure why it does it, but every time it has done it, has been at a bad moment. Not once has it done it when I'm standing away from the action.
Sorry to say it but I've not suffered any problem like that since switching from ATI 5870 and 5870 xfire to nvidia.
What pings do you guys seem to get on average online these days? I only have a 2mb connection and most servers give me a ping between 100-140. Some people on the servers im on have pings as high as 300, is that really there ping to that server or is it there ping to me?
I just relized as well i have all my settings on high and the game runs so bloddy well, what kinda settings are most people running the game on these days? i guess for mulitiplayer its not so much about looks but performance

The 100-140 your seeing isnt ping but latency remember, the only easy way to see true ping is in TS or something similar / the server browser page, anything in game is latency
