Indeed but the trouble is, I don't remember what password I used on that site.

I've changed my email address password, hopefully that'll suffice. I think I used some really random password on the codemasters site anyway. It was only for their forum.


EDIT: I never even bothered to change it from the allocated one that codemasters give you when you sign up. I think I'll be okay.

Have a search through your emails as I found my registration email with the password in plain text. Also found a couple of other ones from codemasters in 2009 about their forums being hacked. lol.

Only got Dirt 2 redeemed on Steam (got it with a video card two years ago).

Although they did say that they informed the NHS about the security holes. More "good faith" rather than a malicious attack.

Tbh, if they are behind all these attacks, then a company should really hire these people to improve their systems, rather than shun them.

I would like to know this also please. I don't remember being a member of codemasters but all I do remember doing was using windows live to sign in for Dirt 2. Should'nt think this would be a problem.

They never did anything malicious, they let them know the holes they used to get in. I'm surprised the NHS never got hit before to be honest!

They did the same with Nintendo, hacked in but only took the apache config file as proof and didn't steal any personal data as they like Nintendo

Just changed all of my emails and passwords with all the sites I go on due to this. Logged into the codemasters forum using my usual email and pw combo and it worked -.-

Why can't companies actually have decent sodding security for a change? I got burned by the sony problems and now this. Absolutely **** take tbh.
