We do investigate Facebook, you've been misinformed. Some people in the office next to me look into that kind of thing all the time. It's actually much easier than SMSes anyway. Tell your local bobbies to get off their arses.

it will be sorted away from the police but getting this ***** license revoked is a bonus

brother receives death threat from member of above family

going to the police about that situation is not a grass.
let say an old women is mugged for her purse and goes to the police ..is she a grass?

To tell you the truth we dont know the full situation, lets say for example the pair of them got arrested doing the same offence and the brother grassed the other up on the condition of being in the clear then I would be pretty peeved off too. Thats all as an example though.
Someone saying something to the police to help with information that leads to thieving scrotes getting caught is doing their own bit for society rather than just keeping quiet because some thieving scumbag likes to make threats and some strange camaraderie of we dont grass on the local scumbag, just seems odd in todays day and age. Yeah we had ways of sorting things ourselves too, but in this day and age it ends up getting you in more trouble than the person who did whatever in the first place.
