police will not investage facebook?

I don't see where this discussion on "grassing" even came from. He was wrongly accused of something so if anything someone else "grassed" him up. I swear people on here don't even read the thread anymore.

On topic, that's insane that they won't investigate just because it's on Facebook, especially since he's just come out prison and he has a reason to dislike your brother. Might be worth taking it up with them again especially since the articles linked suggest that they SHOULD be looking into it.

this :)

thanks

This thread smells fishier than Captain Birds Eye's sowester.

Making threats to kill is considered a serious crime and carries a maximum ten year prison term. I can't see why the police would refuse to investigate it just because the threat was made via Facebook.

Are we getting the whole story here?

Whilst death threats in Facebook should be investigated like any other, the number of these "death threats" that get reported is huge. Investigating them isn't quick but usually comes to nothing for various reasons. Facebook arguments are usually petty and usually harmless, but on the other side, the exceptions need to be dealt with.

If you truly believe the threat is real, go and try report it again, perhaps at a different police station. If you are only doing it to send him back to prison, don't bother, its a waste of police time.

So basically your brother is a grass.
And?

I'm an idiot for having been brought up differently? Where I'm from we don't grass on people and we deal with our own problems.

Now I don't really think you should be calling me an idiot when you can't use capitals and/or punctuation.

lul wut? So if you got robbed and all your monies was stolen, and I knew who it was, you wouldnt want me to go to the police? Pfffft!
