Got my M4's today ..can only fit the front as the rear hose is slightly too short even though i thought it would be fine.

Is it possible to to just replace the hose and use the original fittings?

So long as you dont break anything when taking them apart, the olives can be very fragile bike shop snapped one of mine!

I prefer the spec of the new N'dee, although i dont have the money for either of them, just bought a new car as well so im a bit skint this month and next.
Steerer should be long enough i had a few spacers on my old frame so at worst might need a smaller stem.

Edit: Looks like the headtube length is 129mm opposed to my last frames 120mm so minus the spacers should be fine.

The N'dee is no more, there's no "new " one :)
it's being replaced by the Idylle SC

Insane fork though (its the same as the DC Idylle, just lowered).

Yeap, that is an N'dee ... which is being phased out.

I can't comment on whether it's just being rebranded, which could very well be the case.

They might have some left over stock of the N'dee but they will be replaced eventually with the above Idylle.

Do you really want a fixed 180mm fork on the Nomad?

The new Idylle SC will come in 160mm too

I guess Vanessa's point was not about whether it will fit or not or whether it will take a 180mm fork, but whether you want to turn your bike into a Mini DH bike, opposed to an AM/trail bike

Yes, im putting my marzzochi 66 rc3 on they will easily fit after looking at the sizes.

I know they will fit and that the frame will take a 180mm for but as above it really makes the bike a FR/miniDH and a bit less of an all round trail bike.

TBH a lot of people can't justify a 160mm travel bike let alone one with a 180m fork.

Either you are using it as a mini DH bike with a coil shock, or you are a more on!

Who are you to tell me what i can do with my money and what bike/components i should use. You can offer your advice by all means but dont impose your views on me like there law.
