Well, this was going to be a new car thread with lots of shiny pictures of my 2008 Interlagos Blue BMW M5 but it's going to be a bit of a rant instead because this happened today:

I was driving along the A30 in Camberley, Surrey when a lovely Slovenian chap decided to turn his rented Polo right out of a left turn only junction and t-bone me. I've not even had it a week! It's a shame OCUK doesn't allow swearing because there's no polite way to describe how I'm feeling right now :mad:
 
Thank god it was a rental and not a foreign car. No doubt you were livid and especially with a car as good as that but at least you can claim off the rental company. I was hit by a foreign car and the police did sweet FA. Luckily I just needed a bumper respray.
 
Gutted for you. Could have been worse though - just keep telling yourself that. What state was the other car in?
 
That sucks but at least it sounds like the repair will be an easy ride insurance-wise! Nice car though :)
 
It's unfortunate for that to happen to anyone's car but to have it happen just a few days into ownership must be very very annoying. I hope it all gets sorted without any trouble.
