How much do you actually download ?

So these are user generated content people are downloading yes? What exactly are people downloading from newsgroups?


Edit: I find it hard to believe people download up to hundreds of gigabytes a month of legal content consistently every month.
 
Normally between 100GB and 200GB, across two laptops and a PC.

VirginMedia, 10mb.

Exactly why I stated I didn't want to know what people download, just curious about how much ! What would be good is if people could post their ISP and speed as well

I use Eclipse 8Mbit (no LLU here) and I get about 7Mbit actual throughput so pretty good. I think its a good package, I get 100GB a month of 'anytime' traffic and unlimited off peak downloads which is between 11pm and 9am I think.
 
Lots, about 15Gb by the time today is done.

Edit:
Iplayer HD and youtube take up a lot of bandwidth by themselves.
Currently on Virgin Media 20mb, never get anywhere near that though.

BT Infinity 40mbit, had it 3 months HAMMERED IT!


Today: 29.2 G SABnzbd


Was previously on Bethere synced at 22mbit, hit 1tb a month a few times with them.

What actual speed are you getting on BT Infinity ? i'm not due for it in the next 6 months it says, could be years :(

Usually 37.50mbit but randomly (rare) ill gain 1mbit like so:



Just taken. Cabinet is less than 100meters away looking forward to 80mbit :)

Oh the line profile for Infinity is set to a max of 38700kbps.


Benftl what did you use to make those graphs ;)? built into router or something?

60-75 GB, and that's from a lot of grooveshark, iplayer and tvcatchup, gaming streams, DLC and patches, and loads online gaming with voice chat.

If you work full time, have a life and aren't a dirty pirate I'm not sure how you can use over 200GB.
 
Bearing in mind my stats are taken from a router and not my PC specifically, I guess it would make sense for people to clarify their stats when posting.

From 12 midnight to 6am is free though,

EDIT: 25GB is my monthly cap.

Actual Data Traffic Total: 55.747 GB
Billed Data Traffic Total: 14.395 GB



so from 12-6 i downloaded 40GBs. GOML
