Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker will be coming to the PS3, according to a report.

Konami will announce a port of the PSP title during Sony's E3 conference next month, says JVN (via VG247).

Released through the recently-unveiled PSP Remaster series, the port will feature HD visuals, Dual Shock 3 support and cross-platform save sharing.

The only game announced for the series is Monster Hunter Portable 3rd in Japan, which will also receive compatibility with stereoscopic 3D.

Earlier this year, it was rumoured that two Metal Gear Solid games would be announced at E3.

Sony's E3 conference will take place on June 5 in Los Angeles.

Good news as I understand many feel it's the best MGS game to date, I'd expect it to be budget priced as well seeing as it wont look as good as MGS4 even with an HD face lift

Definitely, but the best way to enjoy it is after having played the previous games, so you know how everything links up. The storyline can get rather chaotic at the best of times.

Yes I play only online games and have a low attention span. Mgs4 (
Kept me hooked and enthralled and ive never played mgs before.

Then I bought uncharted 2 hoping it would also be good. Not a patch on Mgs4

Basically buy Mgs4 for a Tenner you can't lost. Looking forward to peacewalker too.
 
MGS4 is pretty awful and one of the few games/movies that has the distinction of actually ruining the previous entries in the series as well. The plot is easily the worst written of any game this generation because of its sheer absurdity, retcons and plotholes the size of Jordan's vagina.

£39.99 is fine in my opinion.

MGS:PW

All remastered in HD with trophies/achievements added and if you look at the price some people are asking for MGS3 Subsistence then the HD Collection is more than worth it, for me at least.

It's a real shame. The actual gameplay (when you finally get to play the damn game) is fantastic. It's probably one of the most complete third person / stealth games I've ever played.

It's just such a shame that very little of the game is spent actually playing it. I don't think I'd call MGS4 "awful" because there are definitely moments where it shines (Act 4 for example). I think "disappointing" would be more apt.
