Yeah I know, that's the problem with collaborating - everyone has their own opinion!

So you think that nothing should be done?
You're obviously just trolling, give over.
LulzSec The Lulz Boat
Not sure we claimed to hack the UK census or where that rumour started, but we assume it's because people are stupider than you and I.
People lying on Pastebin!![]()
Lulzboat said:I'm not seeing "we hacked the UK census" on our twitter feed or website... why does the media believe we hacked the UK census? #confusion
Oh well, just because we want to waste government and local authority investigation time: we hacked every website in the world. Enjoy!
LulzSec The Lulz Boat
Just saw the pastebin of the UK census hack. That wasn't us - don't believe fake LulzSec releases unless we put out a tweet first.
I didn't use Twitter until the Lulz
Same.
Just watched a sky news interview with some chap who thought they'd caught the mastermind behind lulzsec and referred to their announcement they'd hacked the census. Clearly this man doesn't have Twitter on his phone.
The person arrested may not be anything special but its still a step closer. Given some of the twitter quotes I've read the police need to be concentrating their search on prepubescent loners. Really do come across as a bunch of idiots.
I have a feeling there will be greater internet restrictions, but on the other hand, our personal information will be a bit safer as companies will beef up their security in response to increasing attempts at data theft.
it will all be used as an excuse to police the internet like america has wanted for awhile now they want an internet they "own" so they can do with it what they like and stop what they dont like at the end of the day its all going to come down to "controlling the little people"

They already do. They're routinely revoking domains associated with piracy and hacking at the minute.
No it won't.
Unless you physically stop everyone from accessing the internet, this will always happen.
Well only if the domain registry is ran by a US company.
