I cant understand why they would release something that looks so terrible. The designers have really cocked it up big style. What a load of rubbish!

You know why. Because it will use the normal Mini chassis, with just a new body on it. It will have been cheap to design and produce, yet due to brand loyalty of people blinded by 'style' and 'image', it will sell by the thousand for an over inflated price.

From BMWs perspective, the Mini brand is a very much living horse that they are taking great pleasure in flogging again and again.

Yes, yes it is. I accept that style and taste are subjective but surely it's clear that looks horrible.

Mind you I'm not fond of any of the new BMW Minis so that may have some bearing on my feelings.

That is so out of proportion. It's like the designers hand slipped when drawing the roof line and forgot to fix it.

Front 3/4 angle is good looking, rear not so much. It's meant to appeal more to men than the standard car. Apparently they're making a convertible one which I think will be very good looking. I would never entertain the idea of buying a new one though.

I think the mini coupe concept could have worked....just a shame they made a botch job of it.
