At least it gives you another option over AMD 6950/70 and the GTX580 3gb for high resolution monitors![]()
defo, Now let me run 3 screens from one card...................
Even the top end single GPUs out atm struggle with 3 displays running at any kind of decent resolution and settings so not sure the advantage to that.
Just had a look on EVGAs website and i can only find
EVGA GeForce GTX 560 2048MB Superclocked
all the 570 are 1280MB
I have an EVGA 570 super clocked I got from here under a year ago…..
Does anyone know if I can part exchange it, or something for a 2.5 one
Its registered with EVGA
But it going cost £100+ more then a 2Gb 6950This is indeed a nice alternative to the HD6950 2GB for those who'd like to stick with nVidia

Standard Evga 1280mb GTX 570 costs = £251.48
Add about £50 for 2. 5GB version = £300
2048MB XFX ATI Radeon 6950 = £199 http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-192-XF&groupid=701&catid=56&subcat=1752
1536MB EVGA GTX 580 = £383.50 inc VAT
3GB EVGA GTX 580 = £467.50 inc VAT
still could be a cheaper alternative to Sli 580 3GB for people running 3 screens or very high res, even though next gen wont be long away. Are OCUK going to stock these.
