should i get iPhone 4?

Just how the OP seemingly 'deserves' an iphone if he dares to dislike an android device, even if he is trolling.

Well, if someone is totally retarded (as we have deduced) and choosing between an iPhone and an Android phone, the iPhone is easier to use therefore the retard would get on better with it, would they not?

If you're not really that happy with your SGS2 then the iPhone is a nice alternative. :)

What you mention temps, are you saying your SGS2 gets too hot? If do that's not really going to help the battery life... :/

It can get a bit warm, but no more than any other phone. It's just thinner so the heat is probably a bit closer to the case :)

ok i was out for like 5-8 hrs...and damn...too many posts...
read through them ..most said i was trolling... -.-

really.. got this GS2...no lie

or else i wouldnt of explained about the battery life, and temps. (temps did go up to 50 degrees on my GS2..from playing this zombie vs pumpkin game?...not even that, even games like moon chaser, angry birds etc...did the same.)

and regarding my other post (long ago) which said i was gonna get the iphone4?
i changed my mind as the prices were kinda similar...
i bought mine...for £400..
iphone4 16gb was like £380? last time i searched it

was a quick decision i had to make =/

so...i thought ..GS2..better hardware...must be better

now i regret buying it, this was my first touchscreen phone,
call me dum or w/e ..sometimes i suck are researching and get some facts wrong,

anyways, i asked on here just to get some opinions...NOT TROLLING -.-

and also can anyone confirm that iphone5 will be similar priced as the iphone4? (like around the £400 zone?
i kinda doubt that it will =/

yh...the camera part, like heats up and gets quite uncomfortable at times =/
yh, i guess it does affect the battery =/

just hope iphone doesnt do that

All phones heat up when under stress bearing usage like gaming. The fact that you can feel the heat means the shell is transferring heat effectively from inside the phone instead of trapping it around.

I don't have a problem with the heat, my Desire got hot during gaming or GPS navigating as do the other phones I use through work and business. I don't have sensitive hands as much so it doesn't affect me using it or it functioning abnormally though so it's all OK.

Battery life is similar to all other competing handsets. If you use it on and off it will last beyond a day, if you use it a lot it will last up to a day. The iPhone 5 is exactly the same although it has a smaller screen with lesser specced hardware so it can be argued that its power usage is higher.

The iPhone 5 will no way be £400 at launch. It will be much more.

the iphone 4 does seem to handle gaming a lot better than the SGS2 in terms of battery life, i got 2.5 days of life from an iphone 4 charge with about 1.5 hours of infinity blade which is one of the most taxing 3D games out there for a phone....any gaming on my sgs2 makes it take a sharp hit.

I can comfortably get a day out of the SGS2 now with medium-heavy use and probably enough for another half a day, but the iphone is definitely still the far better phone battery wise. My sgs2 also gets warm enough that it's uncomfortable.

After having had both now for a few weeks, if i had to give one back, it would without a doubt be the iphone, still prefer the SGS2 by a mile, despite acknowledging the iphone's good points. (battery life and gaming)

Gotcha, warm is fine for batteries, but they don't like getting hot (40 degree's+), so I fail to see why the phone getting warm would be an issue, especially in UK where we have a relatively cool climate...

EDIT: 50 degrees may be a bit much however, if you've had your SGS2 less than 2 weeks you may be able to return it under DSR if you ordered it online\/\/?

The iPhone 4 is £499 and £599.

The iPhone 5 will be the same. Apple know people aren't going to want to fork out £700-1000 for a phone, even if it is an iPhone.

Yes, it can warm up if you're gaming etc.

iPhone 5 will be between £500-£650 depending on the size you want I would guess as Apple always seem to price new phones at that level.

If you really want to go for an iPhone but don't want to spend that much wait til the 5 is out and the 4 will be cheaper.

I switched from iPhone to S2 last week and love it but then I'm definitely a person who likes to tinker and mod my stuff so it meets my needs.

Found I am charging it as much as my iPhone too which is once a day (overnight).
