People are quite reluctant to use hacks when their entire source collection can be VAC banned. Not really an issue if you can make a new account and get a free copy. Who cares if that gets VAC banned? Just make a new account...

I gave up on Tf2 when it was next to impossible to find a server that wasn't instant respawn custom maps/mods etc, just couldn't find any vanilla servers.

I'd put money on Dota 2 also being free, TF2 has been used to trial most of the features in Dota 2.

I usually play on the UKMandown servers, the admins there keep a good eye on things.

I just don't know what Valve are thinking making this F2P, surely the free weekends they have done in the past must have told them something.
So instead of part time cheaters/griefers we will have them full time now.

Loved the new 'Meet the Medic', lets just hope it doesn't take another 2 years before we see 'Meet the Pyro'!

As for ftp, it is a great idea on paper but have to agree with everyone else's concerns regarding an influx of cheaters/griefers.

Play on good servers, and they won't be a problem. TF2 is going to be four years old this year. Good for Valve making it free to play. Server admins should take care of most of the hackers/griefers.
