Glastonbury 2011?

The last decent album they made. Really good live performance from them but by playing a greatest hits set they showed IMHO that they have written nothing decent for 20 years.

I quite like 'Beautiful Day.'

what???? they did not even play half their greatest hits, and added a few album tracks on, the reason they opened with the 5 from Achtung baby was for the fact its 20 years old.

All that you can't leave behind and Atomic bomb album both had number 1's all around the world and were very successful and for a band in there mid 40's at the time was quite impressive in a pop oriented singles chart.

You could argue they are not as relevant these days, but then what band is where the members are knocking on 50!

Anybody know if there's any dance music covered? I suspect Chemical Bros will be tonight?

And BBC highlights will be 3 songs, It's what they did with prodigy the other year who were clearly the act of the weekend.

In other news Joe wiley looks stunning this evening!

Oh and miss lavern is also looking delightful

Probably pretty tough to get the right balance between getting the noise from the crowd and the band's music.

Anyone watching the Chemical Brothers? Not usually a dance fan, but Coldplay are a bit dull (except for God Put a Smile Upon My Face, which was stunning), but they're on form tonight!

Really loving the line up on bbc 3 tonight considering a lot of it isn't really my thing.

Aloe Blacc was amazing, such a good voice. Janelle Monae, just wow. That girl/band certianly put on a show. And now Chemical Bro's, again not really my cup of tea, but got to apprieciate the visuals and spectacle they're putting on, would be awesome to be there.

Gutted that there's no Wild Beasts being shown, although I guess they don't really compete with Coldplay or the Chemical Brothers :(
