This morning i picked up Assassins creed, Assassins creed II and Brotherhood for £20 on xbox 360, i havent played these before but my friends have and are really hyped for revelations so it got me interested so just wondering what you guys think about the games.
do they get better and better after each game or all as good as each other?
 
That's a good price.

One was a good concept but was very repetitive
Two was brilliant, better than one in every way.
I haven't played Brotherhoods yet.
 
Haven't completed the first so can't say.
Second is awesome.
Third is even better (even if the majority seems to think the second is the best so far :p)
 
The first one for me was god awful to me, had some dreadful gameplay decisions in it and I just did not like it at all.

Number 2 on the other hand fixed pretty much all of them and I loved that game.

Wasn't interested in Brotherhood until the other day funnily enough when my mate was playing it.

Brotherhood comes out on Classic this Friday with the DLC so I might pick it up then.
 
I'm currently playing through Assassins Creed 2 at the moment and although it's frustrating at times I seem to be able to play it for a good 4 hours straight and completely lose track of time so I guess that's a testament of a good game. Not that I will but I reckon AC2 may be a game that's better on a second play through once you know what to expect.

I will definitely be purchasing ACB once I've reached Platinum :cool:

Oh and I skipped Assassins Creed but by all accounts it's a bit rubbish, and from what I can make out the story of the trilogy really starts with AC2 anyway. :)
 
Yeah I bought AC1 and AC2 at the same time, on the idea that I played through 1 to get storeyline but my flatmate said skip it, picked up AC2 and I still play it now. Need to get ACB but want to finally finish a game but finding a few trophies tricky to get.
 
i played all 3 and the best was AC2 by far. admittedly i never finished the first game since it bored me to death

one thing i hope next game addresses is the controls they can be very frustrating at times

ps also got a few of the dlc and they were all poor imo. haven't tried the multiplayer and doubt i ever will for this type of game tbh

wouldnt even play AC1 if your new to the series, it could put you off playing AC2 & ACB.

Start on AC2, its probably one of the best games of this console generation imo.
 
Well, I still think ACI is worth a go especially as you're going to be going back to Masyaf and the Altaïr stuff in the Revelations episode this year.
 
Just completed AC2, got a bit meh in the end and for the majority of the game I had no idea what was going on story line wise other than you were whittling down a list of targets before getting to the top of the food chain so to speak.

Think I'll need a break from the series before I buy AC:B.

Got 90% of the trophies as well, not sure if I have the will power to go and find all the feathers to get platinum though....
 
AC1 is awful in my opinion

AC2 i found tobe fantastic.

AC3 i found to be less so despite it was the same game with knobs on but not sure why i didnt like it as much maybe the terrain wasnt as much fun as the second game and more stuff had been added which didnt really add to the game.
 
Well having got platinum on AC2 I've just got a sealed copy of AC: Brotherhood off of ebay for £2.20 - BARGAIN!! :D
 
I just bagged a copy of AC:B Classics with the DLC too, I loved number 2 so decided to get Brotherhood. I should like it.
 
Might look into picking up Brotherhood if it's going cheap now, when it first came out I just thought meh another AC and didn't bother with it!
