Recommend me some Coop games

Not really bothered which type, I just want to play some coop with a friend who's just got a decent PC.

Few I've thought of are L4d/SC2 but he's not too hot at rts games.

Splinter cell Conviction is supposed to be good in coop, but i've never played it. (the coop that is)

Any one of the steam freebie ones is worth a shot if you both have a PC. Worst case they'll pass an evening and you can figure out what kind of game he prefers.

Diablo2 LOD! Not exactly going to push his new PC, but co-op carnage doesn't get any better!

Pidgeon Sim is good, get the Dove expansion pack, its a must!

Seriously now, Magicka is all you need for maximum co-op lolz for years to come.

Having a blast with Borderlands at the moment myself. I'm a bit late in getting the game but there are plenty of players doing co op and it is a lot of fun, add me on steam if anyone fancies a game.

Dawn of War 2/Chaos Rising/Retribution

You can play all their single player campaigns in coop.

Even tho i don't particularly rate resident evil 4 or 5 compared to the first trilogy I'm gonna say resident evil 5 is a good game to play on co op.Me and my friend bought it one weekend and spent all Friday night and most of Saturday completing it.

Hands down the best suggestion yet. Fantastic 2 player co-op game.

Splinter cell conviction is great as a co-op but unless you are in a voice comms room together you wont be able to communicate with each other in-game :/

Have had a few good games with randomers though despite this.
