No, fuel is the same and insurance is pretty much the same. Tyres are the same. Servicing is higher but at £1000 a pop once a year is hardly bank breaking. It's unexpecting repairs that daunts me but DM will cover that for 6 months. To be fair I doubt I'd have any issues at all running it but I gotta think a little more on it. Read up some more.

Yeah, servicing every 6k/12k is a fair bit, take it you do small mileage then.

This one has got the sky hook suspension, you got to go some to get the back end out.

Quality of build, well its better than vauxhall, its probably not as good as Porsche.

E mails im on the lap top i think its not working, let me give it a dig ......

Try again now stupid thing

Not received anything?

Peerzy - you unhappy with the Boxster?

No not at all, just things have changed and I could go bigger and better if I decide to. 12 months in a Ferrari V8 with the only downside being the risk is something I'm very interested in!

Hang on im gonna get daughter i think this thing has broke down

He fell in love with the exhaust noise and the fact every girl gonna flock to him within 3 miles :D

What? The masser or the Boxster? Surely if its the Boxster you mean every MAN is gonna flock to him within 3 miles?

no its a girl magnet
:)

sadly i think the e mail not wor, king stupid thing

Please someone buy this. This is literally 6 months of hassle free sports car ownership as well as being below the book price (I think).

That's a lovely car at a great price without needing much work done in the short term.

I can't wait to use OcUK to advertise my next car for sale ;)

Do yourself a MEGA favour. Slap a turbo on the GE or go full fat 2JZGTE. If you end up working with a 1JZ you'll always, ALWAYS be thinking about and missing that extra 500cc of the 2J. The 1JZ is an awesome engine, really revvy but it doesn't suit these sort of cars.

Seriously, I sodding love my car for reasons I don't quite understand, but I'd chop it in for an Aristo with a full fat 2J at the drop of a hat. 2JZGTE has got my vote for the best engine ever created. Behind concorde, the SR-71 blackbird, space shuttle and E Type Jag its about the most perfect thing man has created :)

Don't worry mate, as nice as the 1JZ is, I wouldn't downgrade the engine :p 2JZ-GTE would be the way forward, single turboing a 2JZ-GE is too much hassle and expensive for the gains.

It'll be an upgrade in handling and refinement. Power and speed (in a line) are pretty equal.

Having been in both (yours and one at Vmax, not DM's specific one) I can assure you the Masserati felt much much quicker and is very much more the occasion. They can get expensive though but if it's something you are thinking about go for it!
