Are there any really good stealth games out there other than the usual Splinter Cell and Thief games? Really in the mood to sneak around and take out unsuspecting enemies all of a sudden

I love the genre as well but theres nothing out there of the same quality as those that i can think of, however on this forum im sure someone will think of something

Death to Spies is great. Nothign comes close to the Thief series still for me though, sadly not many stealth games are made these days. DE:HR looks like you can play stealthily but there isn't a great deal else.

There were some good stealthy bits in Hitman - Blood Money i think, not quite the same but it's something. £4.00 on steam.

Haven't played it myself, but if you have Doom 3 then The Dark Mod (http://www.thedarkmod.com/) is supposed to be pretty good. It's very much like Thief.

epic game still havnt played MGS4

crysis 2 might be pun as on post human warrior you have no choice but to play it stealthy

Never got into mgs games...too immature and not dark enough. T2: The Metal Age is the ultimate stealth game, well the most hardcore anyway. Shame the popular franchises (thief, splinter cell) took a nose dive to appeal to a wider audience.

MGS is one of the best game series around... I remember the PC version, it was something like 20 or 30 gig haha...

I know it is not coming to PC but MGS Remastered collection is coming out for Xbox 360 and PS3.

All amazing games it will have MGS2, MGS3 and Peace Walker (This is going to be awesome because I don't have a PSP to get it).

MGS1 was remastered for Gamecube and if you can use Dolphin emu to play it on your PC that would be a great game to play or just get a Gamecube because they are stupidly cheap.

Obviously MGS4 is PS3 only but it is a great game

I had MGS on PS1 a couple of years ago but sold it for 7.50, it was complete and was the black label edition. Wish I didn't now

The Thief styled Dark Mod for Doom 3 is ace. It's just like playing Thief in a more modern engine.
