Radeon HD 5830 - Power

Hi, I have recently taken delivery of the above card. Whilst I am reasonably confident about installing it etc I have question about power for this card. It says that it must be connected to the PSU. But there are two power cables and two power sockets on the board. Do I need to connect both power cables or just one.

Both will be needed to power the card.

Check what power connectors it takes before you try and force them in. It might take two 6-pin connectors, two 8-pin connectors, or a 6-pin and an 8-pin connector.

It's a HD 5830 so it has two 6 pin connectors.
