Nice, although I think the scene would look even better with some graduated ND and a slower shutter.

I'v been meaning to do a seascape and have been trying to find places to go, so I might try heading there soon myself.

Edit:

Maybe a little too far north, lol

Hehe yeah I used to live in Yorkshire, now I get to call that the south :D

At the picture above.

I think it looks pretty amazing tbh, I think its well composed, You say you didn't have the best sunset but I still think it works and stands out

My first thought was "wow, post processing ", but then my second thought was "urgh, post processing :(".

All i do digitally is convert my negatives to grayscale, flip them (since i scan emulsion down), sometimes decide they looked better the other way and then play with brightness and contrast until they look passable, and i doubt i'd even have to do that if i had a half decent scanner.

lifting those shadows is as simple as moving a single slider in NX2, it's basically just a single frame HDR (but without the HDR 'look'), or a graduated ND filter alternative...

Seriously impressed with those shots Ejizz......you could almost call them 'British Summer' ;)

Bringing back all that detail from the original is superb. Love the processing on them as well.
