Just cause 2-worth it ?

I bought just cause 1 and two with all the dlc + kotor and braid for ten pound yesterday haven't played them yet but couldn't resist a bargain.

Thats the problem with Steam sales, everybody buys loads of games on the cheap and then never plays them! Well, thats me anyway.
 
My favourite game of 2010.

Very underated when it was launched and went under most peoples radar.

Pre-ordered as I enjoyed the first one and was not disappointed.
 
Have prioritised it as a download now and will be done by tomorrow morning. Looking forwards to this now. Do you basically have free roam of a massive map, with guns and cars? If so, sounds awesome!
 
Think of this games world as a giant playground and that pretty much sums up what this games all about.

Do not take it seriously its just meant to muck around in. The "missions" are a weak attempt to give it a "storyline" but the main aim of JC2 to just tool around the islands slaughtering people, blowing stuff up and doing silly stunts.

A nice game to jump into after a hard days work. Leave the Oblivion, Morrowind, Arma 2 etc for the weekend...JC2 is your after-work game :D

Oh and the Superman mod is a must :) Much faster way to get around the massive world. Much much faster than the airplanes even.

THIS!!!

I've had JC2 since the day of release, paid full price and i'd say i've got the most gameplay per pound of any game i've ever played, i'm only about 42% completed but I keep coming back to it over and over again. I switch on for an hour, do a few missions, find a few skulls/black box's/drugs, grab a chopper, go on a rampage and i'm done for a few days.

No game has ever kept me coming back for more like this one does.

BTW...get the mod which makes the triggered explosives the same strength as the mile high club explosive. You can drop 4/5 around a base, find a high vantage point and the carnage is so much fun :D
 
Bought this game shortly after it came out, played it for an hour or so and then never went back to it. Couple of months ago decided I needed to start playing some of the games I've got and never got into, so fired this up and started pratting about. Thoroughly loved it since and cannot put it down. Works amazingly well on 3 screens and looks gorgeous.

Personally love the plot - some stuff is going on that sounds really important, we want you to cause as much chaos as you can and that should sort it all out! Maybe we should put Rico in charge of sorting out global warming, by this logic he could just blow up a couple of dictators and that would sort out the ozone layer nicely! :)
 
Just done the first few missions including protecting Blaine in the car chase. Pretty good so far and I think I can now roam the island freely.
