Considering the 27" Dell U2711

I have it at 130% (125 DPI). But this does not effect everything. Some of the text is larger but a lot of it is still small.

To be honest I'd rather just go back to my old monitor...

I'd stick with it and see. Not being funny but is your vision 20:20? I'm blind as a bat but with contacts I can see the text fine at 100%, just a thought :)

I just got this yesterday as well but I can't force this higher than 1920 x 1200 in DVI... Can anyone help me?

Looks well nice and I was quite surprised it's not THAT much bigger than my old 24" Dell

if the text is too small then yeah id return it, or better yet ill give it a good home.. i wish!

20:20 I wish lol. I am short sighted so anything computer related is normally fine.

I can read things, it's just not comfortable. Somethings I have to squint or go closer to the screen. Maybe I am just picky.

Love the IPS though.

maybe the u3011 or u2410? i dont think youll get used to it if your eyes arent up to it thats that surely?

if the pins look like the bottom image the cable cant handle above 1920, just have a look at the ends and post back as to if its the top or bottom pic

i posted the wrong pic, you need the 4th image out of the 5

The only negative about the UltraSharp series is...once you get one you can never settle for anything less.

that is odd, its not your gfx card as i have the same, it definitely has the middle pins? im running from DVI-D1, maybe try rescan of sources, apart from the obvious like system + monitor restart i have no more suggestions!

or worse, once your your 27 comes to replace your 24, you decide you like having both on your desk and suddenly loose the the money you were going to put towards the u2711 from the u2410 sale!

Will OCUK accept a return?
Nothing is damaged and everything will be repacked exactly as I received it.

Is it possible to just post it back and receive a refund?
