Ebay fraud :(

Go to the address with a video camera - if the door is answered and the goods taken, get the whole thing on video as proof (I'm sure the postie wouldn't mind if you explain when he arrives - you're not actually stopping him do his job).

At the same time, do as suggested and get the police involved to try and stop the delivery.

in that case the jobless / criminal answering the door has nothing to loose they will simply batter you and move on to the next scam... if you are tougher than them and manage to beat them off they say you arrived and attacked them, with 2 or 3 of their mates backing them up you lose and go to jail...

Even with the postman standing there ?? I imagine ebay fraud is somewhat more casual in attitude than GBH in broad daylight (though obviously depends on the area).

This won't make a slight bit of difference as PayPal will chase you for the debt.

The difference it will make is that you've got your money and they're chasing you for what they think you owe, rather than you chasing them.

I've had a similar thing myself with them, there's nothing they can actually do other than send pretend debt collection letters with vague threats that never happen.
