Cougar CMX 700W

was browsing for a 750w psu and bumped into this which is 700w. has anybody heard of it? was gonna buy the xfx 750w modular psu but was drawn into the cougar's looks

The main problem with this power supply is voltage regulation. Starting at 560 W, voltages got outside their allowed range, what can make your computer behave erratically. We tested two samples, and both presented the same problem. Therefore, we can’t recommend this unit.

Never buy anything for its looks (in terms of PC hardware at least!), go for the XFX one, it's a good PSU brand.

thanks guys! so now the question is lepa or xfx? ive heard really good reviews about the xfx but cant seem to find one for the lepa.

The XFX is around £90,80+ Silver rated and is made by Seasonic. Both JonnyGuru and HardOCP gave it maximum points for performance.
