I love civ games, have been keeping my eye on this but from what i gather its a bit too social sounding. You do better working in teams with each city specialising in different resources (gold, science, culture etc). I'd rather be able to play on my own and be competitive without relying on others. I do have a very limited knowledge of the game mind.
