I have no idea if this it true but I once heard that monkeys, along with dolphins and humans, are the only known life forms that are self aware i.e. knowing that a reflection is them.
It's amazing how certain animals have appended certain actions to their every day ones from the influence of humans. Especially when it involves technology, which in terms of adapting inherited traits, hasn't been around for that long.
I was in Australia recently where the Lyrebird is native. It has the ability to mimic sounds. In more touristy areas you can hear them mimicking the sound of a camera shutter. In areas of deforestation you can hear them mimic the sound of a chainsaw.

i watched a video on world star hop hop the other day where african soldiers (who were laughing their heads off and most likely high) gave a monkey an ak47 fully loaded, then ran for cover when it started shooting it.
Reminds me of the viral with the ape taking the AK47 from an African soldier and shooting at them. Cant embed it as I'm on the phone but search "ape takes AK47". Amazing number of people think it's real lol
