Looking to get a PAYG sim for my iPad as I'm starting to need Internet access when I'm out and about.

What's the cheapest or best way to do it?
Three offer 1gb for £7.50 a month (contract) or 1gb for £10.50/30 days.

I understand I can jailbreak my iPad and thether the Internet connection from my blackberry using mywi or some kind of app at no cost? Unsure on JB'ing though.

Any help appreciated

I went for three's "SIM only Internet" then used a SIM cutter to create a micro SIM that would fit in my iPad. That way you get 2gb and only £5 a month

I went with 3 on PAYG but choose the MiFi option as I want to be able to use it with my MBP as well. In short 3 have the best internet deals.

Is that a rolling contract of £5 per month?? I'd rather one that i can not pay for one month and pay for another month. Follow me?

MyWi was originally made for making your iPhone/iPad a wifi hotspot for other things to connect too it, 3 will be the cheapest for data

I use a 3 sim in mine that i cut down, it's a 3GB limit, or 3 months limit. I bought half a dozen or so for £6 each and just use them till the limit is hit, or 3 months is up - haven't hit the limit within 3 months so far.

t-mobile payg have been doing iphone 4 micro-sim for £15 with 12month free internet access for last 2months now. it so good i've bought it for my iphone, ipad and sister's iphone. After your micro sim has arrive then you might need to go on to twitter's t-mobile support @TMobileUKhelp to activate your 12 month free internet.

I knew they was giving them away with iPhone 4's (cause I got one with mine) didn't know they was selling them tho, gotta get myself a new 1

Oh you don't have to worry about that, the GPS still works, just YouTube and such doesn't, plus T-Mobile never charge for going over your limit anyway

I use a T-mobile PAYG SIM with the 6month internet bolt on for £20, just have to pop it back into my phone every 6 month to renew the package

Does your BB allow you to share its internet connection over BT/WiFi? If so, just tether your iPad to your BB, no need to JB your iPad.

I got this but I am amiss why I had to contact them on twitter to get it activated when it clearly stated free on the website

Don't see why not, I am using it with a WWAN card in my laptop...not just restricted to iPhones...

You would need to unlock the mifi.

What's tmobile like on 3G coverage, I know it's subjective due to location. I find Three has beaten all other networks I've tried hands down.

not the best..but cant beat this price tho and yes i do find Three network is the best.
