i unblocked my ear in a hot bath with a fairy liquid bottle. just kept filling the bottle and squirting it in my ear. took about 15 minutes. actually felt quite nice as well

I just use bulb-shaped 'tool' similar to this if my ears are blocked. You just fill it with some warm water, squirt it safely into the ear and it removes the softened wax. Cost me a £5.
