Anyhow ok it's peeing it down and I have just spent £47 to go to the cinema , feeling royaly raped we sit down for the show...

I nearly always take a KFC in with me. There are no rules about taking your own food and drink in to a cinema. However, just to be on the safe side, I stuff my KFC in the GFs handbag along with hers and we roll in and munch. Usually all gone by the end of the trailers though![]()

The Odeon in Brighton never stopped me taking sweets/drink in to the cinema when I was a bit younger, didn't even have to hide them.
I haven't been to the cinema since Bruno as I just watch movies online now. I can smoke, pause the movie incase I need the loo without missing anything and munch on rubbish as loudly as I want and I'm not put off by kids and chavs chatting away and I don't have to pay either![]()
seriously? you bring hot, stinking junk food into a cinema? That's worse than texting during a film.
i honestly don't know what's wrong with people. why do you feel you have to stuff your face all the time? it's a damned film - just watch it and then leave. why go to see a movie at dinner/lunch time?! just go earlier/later and enjoy each activity separately. all that happens is that you **** other people off who are either hungry already or just don't want to smell some disgusting, greasy "chicken" slop while they're trying to enjoy a film.
a small drink, I can understand. but food? HOT food as well?
gah... along with chavs talking and throwing popcorn, texting etc. this sort of crap is the reason why I go to the cinema maybe once a year max these days. I don't mind paying a premium for a ticket but if I have to sit near some utter ball-bag stuffing his gob with fried mank then the film better be utterly mind-blowing.
why do people complain so much at prices? £7 for two hours worth of entertainment? it always seems like a great value for money to me.
But then again im use to paying £30 + for a 90 minute football match £50+ for a music gig. ect ect,
Hell try go bowling or anything like that, the cinema is cheap!
how can you attempt to compare a live event with a prerecorded show?
Haven't been to the cinema for years. My cut off was £6.50 a ticket, it's now £9.60 looking at the web sites. I think cinemas will die out in a few years, they have failed to adapt like the music industry.
