Hi guys anyone else suffering from this problem BSOD " A clock interrupt was not received on a secondary processor within the allocated time interval"

Only happens to owners who wish to use the cpu graphics and not anyone using a discrete graphics card.

Got my replacement board sitting in its box as asrock havent found a cure yet so am thinking of returning board for another make. My first board was giving Bsod 4 times a day and more some times.

So anyone else got this problem solved ?

Hope you get it fixed, might just be a case of changing something in Bios, have you tried Bios 1.5?

Have you updated the UEFI to latest 1.5 version?? See the links below for latest Bios / UEFI and Drivers (Taken from the link I have you, 1st page.)

Asrock Z68 Extreme4

Details for the Z68 Extreme4 can be found on Asrocks official page along with pretty pictures and driver download links and so forth :) Or, if you want to find out about all of the Z68s features in detail heres the Asrock site dedicated to the Z68!

As some of you may of read over in the P67 Extreme4 thread after chatting with one of my contacts Asrock will be sending me a Z68 Extreme4 to bug-test like some of you Z68 owners have been requesting me to do so rest assured it will get the same thorough diagnosis I gave the P67 Extreme4

This thread is for any Z68 Extreme4 owners to share their experiences, overclocks, and of course to report any problems they are having which I will then check out, report them to my contacts and give the best possible advice I can

My board is sitting in its box but as you can see in the link even with the latest bios 1.50 and with a few tweaks it still makes no difference.

how do you find out what UEFI you are running?
Hi, I think it's on the first section i.e. Main, see the image below where I circled - let me know what yours currently says, cheers.

i use 2xHD6850s but i use the intel quick sync a lot which i believe uses the cpu gfx, not sure if that causes similar symptoms but i have had no issues.

Yes i seen he did i might contact him to see what setting and v core he had but as for IGP voltage asrock suggested that but it didnt work for people. But if you get chance to run say 24 hours without a discrete card it should show up.

Just a thought, have you installed the latest Hd 3000 driver off the Intel website?

like i said, my G620 ran for 2 days with onboard gfx (think thats HD2000 though) never tried it with my 2500k, although i have plugged my hdmi cable into the onboard hdmi to see if it saved power whilst watching a film, and it successfully did that. but again im not 100% sure whether that still partially used the gfx cards as they were still fitted.
