Battlefield 3 no XP support

yep i think majority of people no this but tbh i dont see why its not included they can include it and all the other games still

who does it benefit ?

they would get probably another 1 million sales if xp was included

think its more to do with support tbh

No 32bit support either is there?

Pretty good imo. Been on at a friend to upgrade his machine to Windows 7 for months and this weekend he finally did and wondered why he hadn't done it sooner.

Everyone i know who wants to play BF3 will be spending out on new hardware, graphics cards etc. to run it anyway - so no reason to not have Win7.

What's more interesting is that PC game devs still think people don't want to upgrade machines for the latest games.. bet OCUK's sales records suggest otherwise. When games have as much scope as BF3 who wouldn't want to spend out to run it at it's best if you are serious about playing it in all it's glory?

haha at the low troll

i play on windows xp because it plays the majority of games and programs better than any other op its that simple i have three pcs and others have w7 on

my gaming machine has xp and would stay xp as mentioned above.

dx11 what benefits does it offer over performance ? none basically.

check bad comany 2 or any other game all sales for other stuff tbh

but computer companies will loveeee the sales it brings :p

Could see this coming (that and its been known for months) but I switched to Win 7 from XP as in my opinion it seems better.

Lets hope the exclusion of XP allows the game to be better configured for DX10/11

I can't be bothered to reinstall everything and migrate my data.

It's inevitable that I'll have to do it, but I'm holding off for as long as I can!

Good for progress, bad for the 1/3rd of gamers that still can't even run DX10.

I see no reason not to be on a modern 64bit OS now unless you're running ancient hardware that can't keep up.

XPs a decade old now, if people want to keep using it, good for them. Theres no need to hold things back because of that though.

Companies would have stopped supporting it a few years back if Vista hadn't been an abomination.
