Undecided...colour or B&W?

Black n white. Look at groom. He looks great in black n white. Bride looks no different in black n white or colour. He makes the shot more striking in black n white

mrk

You were in a moving car when you took that shot? thats really impressive! it looks like you were stationary, not moving!

Thanks!

But the shutter speed isn't the difficult part, it was shot at 1/4000sec so more than fast enough to even freeze the blades of a helicopter. It's the autofocus that usually isn't fast enough on the lens to lock on!

I read 50/50 reviews on the 50mm 1.4 EX DG having strange AF problems where it would not lock on correctly all the time but I've certainly not had such an issue!

Yes don't be tempted, I was looking at other wedding photographers websites sites in my area yesterday, and seeing selective colour in their portfolio, always put's a smile on my face. ;)

shadowness, that 2nd one is absolutely amazing, any info on technique? or was it just a slow shutter?

just low ISO, open shutter for 1/4 second would work.

Hope your subject don't move.

The quicker the moving subject is, the less time you need to open it for, meaning you can even do it hand held at night.

Bokeh

Edit*
I used f2.0 as 1.4-1.8 was "too" smooth, needed some definition in what's back there ;-)

In HK for 10 days. Laptop screen is way out of whack for colours but here are a few :)

Wow, just gorgeous shots! I particularly like the light in the second fish shot (#14?), the incense stick shot and the final shot of the skating rink.
