Best Car Cam

I'm liking the look of the RH-2, with the dual camera, but the only thing that is putting me off buying it is the fact it only works at 19fps, I'd much prefer it if it worked the same as the single camera, at 30fps.

Do you have this yourself? How would you rate it? Any niggles etc?

Why do you need a dual camera? Are you a cab driver?

im in the same boat as you, im looking to get one, but undecided at which. From Youtube video's the one I linked to looks very good, clear video and full of features.

I think it's the one ill be going for

the blackvue looks interesting, seems to have impact detection and save built in and a 'parking' feature that records motion / impact... still £150 or £200 with GPS.

there seems to be a sever lack of 2 camera systems though...

Just to get a better view around the car, there's still instances of people lying their way out of accidents where you would assume they'd have been nailed on to be found at fault due to the damage to the cars, but no, they've managed to get a 50/50 out of it.

That is probably the best one out at the moment. It's quality is far, far superior to the RoadHawk as it records in 1080p and can easily identify number plates.

Here is a sample video (watch in 1080p):

The dash camera I'm using right now is this one. I paid £74 inc delivery to the UK and the quality of the video is still superior to the RoadHawk which is more than twice the price. It doesn't recording speed or have GPS like the RoadHawk or the GS600 does but it's a decent cheap little cam which does it's job well. Here's a sample of it:

Two of those would be handy.

A front facing camera is all good and well until someone goes into the back of you!

if someone goes into the back of u its Always their fault, so no need for a rear cam

Providing they don't:

Drive off
Get false witnesses to say you went into them
Stop and give you details yet later change their mind
Claim it wasn't them
etc

I do plan to buy the GS600 soon and use that one as my front facing cam then move my current cam to the rear.

Just took a punt on that, for £170 willing to give it a try, not that bothered about dual camera thinking about it now. Should give me some good footage of me going around silverstone next month as well :D

Already been shafted for £200 for a nonfault accident, so I think the prospect of spending £170 to hopefully reduce the chance of being shafted again this time by a non fault accident being denied by the other party is worth it.
