It doesn't mention it. You have to run a script in your browser that you get from contacting the Dons so you have the option to sign up (and pay) for it.

It would probably lead to the decline of the forum if it happened but on the condition it remained as it did now, I'd probably pay a few hundred quid a year if I absolutely had to.

I would miss it, no other forum comes close.

I doubt it would, one of the most popular forums going (Something Awful) charges $10 to register then additional fees for access to archives and such.

Unless people are really determined it stops the utter idiots, trolls and generally crap posters posters from keep coming back when they inevitably get banned.

Overclockers get my business, I use the forums too... its a great sales tool for them and only really works properly when free. I'd move to another forum & supplier if they charged... but im sure they know that
