Do you apply anti-perspirant to hairy pits?

What's the point? Surely the antiperspirant molecules are getting blocked from reaching the skin by the hair?

I tried my own research and shaved pits don't stink as bad as very hairy pits after a 24 hour period.

Now I'm off to the shower to shave my pits.

I've seen russian blokes in the gym with shaved arm pits.
It's an odd site.

I have no BO problems, or smelly pits. so I'm not about to go shave what little hair I have.

I trim mine right down , have been doing for years and it does seem to make my anti-perspirant more effective, makes me feel more comfortable as my underarms now normally stay totally dry.

My girlfriend says i'm strange for doing it, but meh who cares.

No. I don't shave my armpits.

I find that I suit a particular type of deo, and other simply don't work. Get the right one for you, and you will be laughing.

Also.. if you have smelly pits, try something like 'Selsun' (normally for scalps but works anywhere on skin) for a few days to get rid of the bacteria and cleanse you.. and you probably won't even need deo for a few days.

Also.. I don't use spray.. I normally use a dry stick type deo. (or anti-perspirant).
