It will but 30GB is pretty small. To get the best out of a SSD you want your programs to be on it, otherwise all you have is faster booting times. I'm using 40GB out of my 60GB drive and that is only from Win7 and programs. All media, work, games etc are stored on other drives.

oh right. what sort of programs? i was told in another thread that you can fit win 7 on about 10GB if you disable things like hibernate, pagefile, system restore......
 
looking around at reviews the drive seems to get good ones, and most claim to get win 7 on between 10GB and 16GB which would leave me room for some games (although most of my games are steam, so can you split it over 2 drives). my biggest concern is, being older tech, will it be reliable?
 
Don't forget you will only get about 25GB of usable space on a 30GB drive and 10GB is pretty small for Win7. But it still doesn't leave you much room.
