Yeah, loads if counters in there.

Whoever's playing is good, no doubt, as they manage most of the encounters in a single combo. I can do that in AA when I'm absolutely on top of things and on the ball, but not every time!

I'm going to make more of an effort this time on the combat, the idea of getting that insanely high combo trophy last time seemed impossible but the combat looks so good in full flow in that gameplay vid :eek:

One of my favourite games of this generation. First game I got 1000GS on, and I'll be playing it again this summer before Arkham City.

Seriously, it's spectacular.

40 hit combo? You can get it fairly easily later in the game. Get the upgrades that give you two points for critical strikes, the throw and the limb break special moves, and the one that lets you do a special move after every 5 hits. Then find a fight without any of the guys with knives of electric sticks and just go nuts. A good one is about midway through when you head to the archives and there's about a dozen guys in the room below you. The worst they have is pipes, so you don't need to faff about with evading or stunning people, though of course it can help. Jump in and 40 hits is easy enough.

I only picked this up the other day... best thing I ever did, it is absolutely awesome, and I do not like Batman at all, so it must be a great game!!

Can't wait for Arkham City now... I mean, really can't wait!
 
With a new movie and video game finishing development and the recent ego-crushing defeat at the box office by a teenage boy and his stick, Batman must be pretty busy. Busy enough to let listings for the Batman: Arkham City collector's edition be posted, unannounced and without violent yet non-lethal retribution. GameStop and Best Buy both have the collector's edition priced at $99.99, and Best Buy is feeling extra bold with a description of its contents: A "premium" statue made by Kotobukiya, an art book, Gotham Knight animated material and early access to DLC.

The collector's edition is listed for Xbox 360 and PS3, and is set to be released October 18 with the standard edition on both consoles and PC, but only if Batman decides to let this little misunderstanding slide.
