RIAT for me marks a year since i started taking aviation photography seriously. Up until that point the camera would only occasionally come out but RIAT changed that considerably!

This year i spent Wednesday night until Saturday night at the show with a lot of time spent saturday walking around the static. One of my main aims was to try and get some better static shots than i normally manage and looking at most of my shots i'm happy enough with them. Just a shame that the morning was written off due to weather which meant i didn't get as many display shots as i would have liked!

Unfortunatley, due to impending holiday, i've only had a chance to edit a small selection for now and the rest will have to wait a few weeks more.

All comments, good or bad, gratefully recieved!!

Some very nice pictures there!

Would just ask, are you doing HDR?

Seems like some of them you are, but can't quite tell, obviously you couldn't for some of them, but yeah thought I'd raise it :)

I personally don't see any signs of HDR or tone mapping, you normally get some pretty obvious artefacts when doing so.

I love 1 and 12, those colours are amazing, 2 is very imposing and impressive. I like what you've done with 10 too.

I'm (hopefully) off to Bruntingthorpe in August for their Cold War jet open day, any advice while I'm there? ;)
