Doubt its a gas explosions due to the damage and it being in offices, you need a massive amount of gas build up to cause that much damage.

Looks like terrorist bombing, probably a car plus a suicide bomber inside the building.

Again, depends on the location of the vehicles, the direction the blast took and the size of the devices and what the shock wave bounced off and the direction it bounced.

99.9% no. Doesn't matter on bomb,debris is blown out the windows, damage is from inside the building, flames inside on upper floors. I can't see how it could possibly be a car bomb. Regardless of shock waves or shape.

A. Car bomb would leave other tale tale signs to the buildings cladding and wouldn't be so. Precise damage on upper internal floors.

Just hearing about this now. Looks like it quite a large explosion from the damage.

Blast pattern doesn't look like car bomb from early images.

Well there is more than 1 person dead just in these photos

Today is a public holiday in Oslo so if this had happened yesterday it would literally be 100s.

Apparently Norway doesn't have a gas network - they all used bottled gas for cooking/heating so even less likely to be a gas explosion.

Agree most likely to be a suicide bomber in the building (detonated on upper floors), then a car bomb outside is my guess.

Looking at the footage over and over, near-ish to the wrecked car is a small crater in the road, where the tarmac is cracked up.

All in all, very sad news whatever the cause may be.

I'm going with a fuel air bomb, probably gas cylinders packed into a vehicle.

To me that doesnt look like a car bomb, but there was supposedly two explosions. I'm happy(probably not the best word to use) to be wrong. But I'm doing what the media's doing and speculating.
