I think it is a terrible shame. Granted if she carried on the way she was then it was only a matter of time.

I also believe some of her music was good and she would have influenced many other artists in her career.

I've never understood why a lot of people who become famous end up getting involved with drugs. Perhaps it is to do with money, I don't know.

Anyway. RIP Amy.

Well for a start addiction is a mental health issue. The police often get involved in mental health matters. How often are the police called to accompany a doctor who is sectioning someone under the mental health act?

My problem is that I will be compelled to show sympathy for her now that she's dead. The press that vilified her in life will now exalt her in death.

You read the press? Then you buy into it.

I have never bought a newspaper and never-will. I make my own mind up.

I'm not sad I'm angry by anyone with talent wasting their gift. We need people with talent and soul in the music industry.Before it becomes a clinical manufactured BS arena.

But self destruction is the nuance of rock n roll. Some survive it other's don't.
If you have nothing to worry about other than the pressure of your success then some just cannot cope.

Maybe I put more value on my friendships than you, but it seems rather extreme to end a friendship.

RIP Amy, heard about this last night whilst having dinner with my missus...we were out at a nice restaurant and her sister texted her the news.

I had a feeling that Amy was going to end up dead very soon, looks like i was right...since she got with that Blake fellow...her life went upside down.

Such a shame and tragic waste of life and talent...she was a very good singer but equally on the other hand...the way she was going, it didnt seem like she was getting any better.
