OcUK RR Day 12 Official Pictures & Dyno Graphs!

Everyone seems to have a good 30%+ loss of power to the wheels, would say thats a little incorrect ;)
The STI's torque is well down compared to its BHP though that could be the rolling road result just being a bit duff, but it looks as though there are some good figures there, is it as everyone expected?

Tony:)

Thats a nice result for Peerzy's Boxster S. Not loving MacRS4's result though :P
Who's was the Merc SL?

Jez, he no longer posts out of protest of me not being a mod, an hounerable and worthwhile sacrifice, a good man marred by the pure nonsensicalness of me not being mod.

Wondering whether my Golf is running the map from one of the special editions - there were two which had 30BHP more, which makes sense.

Nice result there Will as well in the ST :)

PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DON'T GO THERE

(We've spent tens of thousands of posts discussing this very subject. its a side effect of the dyno, ignore the figure. It shouldn't be quoted at all as its not the power at the wheels, only a measurement it uses to calculate a more accurate engine power figure)

It won't be as the ED30s all run 240-250 from the factory, the ED30 has a detuned S3 engine with a bigger turbo which produces around 310bhp just from a remap.

VAG generally are a bit concervative with the power figures, my stock GTI ran 224bhp and 224lbft. They did an update to the engine mid 2005 changing the engine code to BWA and following that they all ran around 220bhp funnily enough Audi released a 220bhp 2L TFSI for the A4 at the same time.

Very happy with my figures (the fiesta st), I expected it to make at least the claimed power (185ps) as mountune are usually a bit conservative...194bhp is possibly a little on the high side given results I have seen from other mountune fiestas, but then again the dyno seems fairly accurate judging by what everyone else got.

Now for the stage 3 tune with the new high flow inlet manifold and bigger throttle body, and a new map..

Good to see you all again, had an epic quick drive back to South Oxfordshire afterwards, not something i do very often so a thankyou comes from me to the meet for re-kindling the love for a good hoon. :) Loving the SL very much after that <3.

I am now faily convinced that if i need some quick cash or something or just fancy a blast of a cheap car i am definitely buying an early cheap E46 M3 cabrio, loving yours Will (not that yours is an early or cheap one, but same thing!).

If anyone took any cool pics of the SL over and above the one in this thread please link to them, i would greatly appreciate it :)

was great to see you again Jez you are a top lad, cheers for the advice about some of my potential property options I actually avoided the pub and stayed in to weigh them all up

Gayjin and I had a pretty serious hoon back too, few dodgy moments that could have been the wrong side of sensible but hey ho we are still here :p

License plate details are in every print out. Considering you remove them from photos is this wise?

(I've always wondered why you bother to remove them anyway).

G18 WTF - quite like this.

Will - told you it would be more than 300 in your wendyhouse!

Macrs4 - noticed on your dyno graph that it only revved out to 8000rpm ish when the redline is 8400 on them and max power quoted at 8300rpm, if the rpm's weren't dialled in correctly, then this could be where a missing chunk of your Bhp is.

Good to see everyone, unfortunately I had to head off at about half one as I had friends coming over, but a really could turn out!

Think the issue with this one was due to the BMW systems going nooooooooooooo can't do 170mph at the rear wheels whilst the fronts are stationary!

I've never understood why people are so anal about having their reg on photos removed. OMG someone might steal it.. err they have to locate it first..

It's on display to EVERYONE that passes the thing in daily life anyway, if they wanted to clone it/steal it they'll do that anyway AND they know where it's parked.

fair enough, I missed it on the dyno as was in my car waiting to come in next, but thought they usually made quoted power, so thought it was a bit odd how low it was.
