Does anyone ever go back and play any really old games ??

Tried Goldeneye a few weeks ago on an emulator, it should have been left in the past, it looked horrible :(
i like shiny new graphics :D

Lemmings, Wolfenstein 3D, Civ, Sim City 2000 (the best one), Total Annihilation (best RTS ever!), Terminal Velocity (great game), Halflife, Homeworld.

All top games, all played within the last few months.

Wish that Steam had more old games on. When will they realise I will pay good money for a game I already have just to have it in my Steam library.

i always find myself coming back to megalomania. Ever since i first played it back on my amiga ive always held a soft spot for it and every so often i find my self playing through it :)

pukka design :)

I'll just leave this here..

Hell yeah!

I have had a netbook only for the last 3 years so had some cracking old games on there, Rollercoaster Tycoon 2, Alpha Centauri, Deus Ex, Diablo 2, basically anything around 2000.

Recently bought a HP nw8240 for $240 (:p) which has the FireGL card which is about on a par with a 9800 Pro so been hitting up some of the 2003-2004 ish games, loving it.

Total Annihilation is still one of the best RTS games ever made, so many things about it are just spot-on

Dawn of War is also awesome

I used to love that game.....

Do you not still love it?

I have a confession to make....after almost 15 years of playing lemmings I am yet to complete every level :o

Oh Rich_L why did you remind me of Rollercoaster Tycoon 2? Just dug it out and installing now. Thats the rest of this week gone.
Agreed on the TA front. Bought SupCom2 thinking it would be more of the same...so disappointing.

Freespace and Freespace 2, but I'm using mods that make them look a lot more up to date. Same with UT.
