Mine was Richard Hammond's Journey to the Centre of the Earth...

A very epic documentary with a classic host...

... Well, really it should be Mythbusters, but I'm not sure if you can class that as a documentary?!!??

Richard Hammond = classic host??? lolwut

I was going to watch that, then I saw all the cgi crud flying around so I thought to myself "I'm too intelligent for this"

Who Killed The Electric Car?
A feature length documentary looking at the rise of electric cars in California led by GM in the 90s, only for them to be killed off by the end of the decade. GM must be kicking themselves considering the increasing popularity of hybrids made in the far east recently and using the exact same technology.

The space shuttles last flight on C4 the other day, utterly fantastic documentary.

Nature's Fury on ITV. Chris Terrill goes looking for extreme weather. He was looking at hurricanes last night. It's an interesting watch.

Richard Hammond - Journey to the centre of the earth/planet

And the space shuttles final mission in 720p

Yellowstone because it is beautiful.
Wonders of The Solar System because it was informative and has the walking talk Stephen Hawking.

Tribe by Bruce Parry. Not a new one but I like it.

EDIT: I tell a lie. The last one I watched was the Louis Theroux prison one.
