Morning everyone ,was just chatting to ppl at work about things we used to do and use in the playground in our youth. and we got onto when you was picking who was it.

i.e

"ipper dipper dation
my operation how many people at the station (person who your pointing at says a number 1-10 and count down )
you are not it".

or

ip dip dog *&$%
$%&ing b$*&%*d silly git
you are not it.

was wondering if you lot could remember any more.

We also used to play Bull Dog but I never knew how to play it so just followed people around like a lost Walrus xD

Also, in the early years of primary school it was XFiles season and one kid managed to find FBI style wallets and he somehow managed to convince us XFiles was real and the FBI issued them to him.

We played XFiles weekly and he was the "boss". He also had a MegaDrive with the most games so didn't want to argue with him :p

OH YEAH!

And the obligatory xxxxxxx and yyyyyyy sitting in a tree! chant whenever someone used to talk to a boy/girl :p

'smell ya ma' whilst waving your fingers in the air was common place on every bus journey to and from the school

Used to play "POW" which involved making gun gestures with your hands and shooting each other. The whole playground turned into a war zone it was fun. I remember us turning a picnic bench into a tank in the 'quiet area' and getting detention.

"boy scout walk out" Point at someone for each word and whoever was "out" was out. If you were down to the last 2 people and you were doing the picking you could do this one, start with yourself and then the other person was always out :D

I used to make puddle soup. I.e. getting bits of weeds, leaves, stones etc and mushing them up in a puddle with a stick and pretending I was making soup. Wtf. :o
