Hi All,

I'm not entirely sure if this is acceptable or not.. but I thought I'd give it a shot!

My girlfriend and I have recently started a blog, which has a photography section (Seen here - ThingsYouWant.co.uk).

I'm working on a post, "Photographs To Inspire You To Try Something Different", and I thought I'd start a thread to see if anyone was interested in having their pictures included in the post.

Full credit will of course be given to the owner, with a link to your site / Flickr account if you have one..

If you think this is something you'd be interested in, then please post a picture here of a different photograph, along with your name, and the link you'd like included. If it's incredibly abstract, then maybe some kind of explanation, too :).

What do I mean by differnet? Something that isn't run of the mill, tells a strange or interesting story, is funny for some reason..

Bah, similarly I probably have a few interesting photos but nothing I'd class as unique or inspiring. :( Must.keep.trying.

Good website though - very simple but effective.

Encasing something in jelly and lighting it from behind of course. The reflection in the jelly puddle annoys me in this pic though!
 
Loving the dog and the jelly! Would either of you be apposed to me using your images?

If not, what would you like me to link to (If anything) and who should I give the credit?

I know IR work isn't my bag and hasn't been for a while but I've always loved that shot and it's not something you see everyday :) (I'd rather include one of my wedding shots to be honest, but you see them ALL the time lol)

This seems to have gone down relatively well, maybe I'll do this more often!

The post probably won't be up for another few days, as I'd like to find more images (So keep posting if you haven't all ready!), but I'll let you all know when it's live.

I was having issues as I was running out of bandwidth, upgraded my service now though.
