Ive just completed mafia 2,metro,crysis 2, batman aa

I was thinking of getting ac:brotherhood. does it link up with the two ac games before

Brotherhood is superb, well worth playing. It does link the stories together, both for Ezio and Desmond.

I quite liked the story in Bioshock 1&2. Dead Space 2 was fantastic. The new Call of Juarez, The Cartel is looking good..

Brotherhood is excellent.

If you haven't played them before, i would strongly suggest playing AC2 as well as Brotherhood is a direct sequel to it, it starts seconds after 2 finishes
Assassin's Creed 1 is not particularly vital to the story tbh.

Stalker you might find fun, its a bit like metro but more open world has few rpg elements to it thow

I wouldn't say Stalker has a very good story, it's an excellent game, and well worth playing though, just the story is one of it's strongest aspects (possibly as a result of the translation).

The Witcher 2 is excellent and I wouldn't be put off it simply because it's an RPG, Baldur's Gate is another RPG yet to look at the two of them together they are completely different.

Portal 2 is excellent and the story is very compelling, in fact the game is really just a back-drop for the story.

Don't forget The Longest Journey, the gfx may be old and stuck at 640x480 but it's a great point and click game.

Also Mass Effect/ME2 both have good stories, they may be RPGs but if you play as a soldier you can just play it as a 3rd person shooter tbh.

Max Payne 1&2 have good stories too.

I'm playing this, havent got very far and I'm listening to the story. But I feel I couldnt care less. I feel if I skipped the cut scenes it wouldnt be a great loss.
