Killed my mobo - SO maybe upgrade time :D Spec me time!

May have the possibilty to be loaned some cash, about 300 ish quid.

So my current pc Is/was

Antec 300 case
Mod extreme 600W
Curicial 64GB SSD (new model)
GTS 250
DVD RW
Fan Controller
Wireless card
USB pci card
Windows 7

SO basically i need the best bang for buck for gaming, around the 300 or less mark.

Ideally i need a spec for RAM,CPU and MOBO (ideally the new sata speed 6??)

At the moment i am only gaming on world of tanks, and i am running on med settings and getting 40+ FPS and i am more than happy with that.

Latter on i will change the gpu and psu to get better fps.

SO i5 would be great, but tbh. Cheaper the better :)

I am coming from s775 4gig and asus p5qpro to give you some idea.

Hopefully my other componets are not damaged, but been told doubtfull i have done other damage :)

DO your best, and please tell me if i need anything extra?

I wont be overclocking :)

Well both motherboards have SATA3.0 and USB3.0

The P67 and "K" CPU will allow overclocking, but you dont want that so save a bundle of dollars with the i5 2400 and H67 board.

But the H67 isnt in stock, so get the P67 board with the i5 2400?
 
could also get a cpu cooler with stulids first spec, theres really no need to upgrade your psu unless you want sli/cf which the asus p67 mobo doesnt have.
however, that mobo isnt great for overclocking, can get to roughly around 4GHz in reviews ive read on the net.

Can you do me a list of the 2400 and the mobo that is in stock and the ram.

I mean a list I can click the links. I am not lazy. Just do not want to order the wrong parts.

Will I need thermal CPU paste?

Someone from the forum is hopefully installing it for me :D
