Yep :) and while your at it set the sharpness to 3 which is easily the best one and also enable "thru mode" on that first setting.

Still due to do my review :)

Brightness down to 70 too imo.

After these are done its fantastic.

Still due my review :)

should have probably told you its a 6950, in catalyst it only goes as high as 60hz, i cant find any other way to increase it.

It will only show the supported resolution and refresh rate for the screen in use.

So is the monitor detected correctly? are there any drivers for it?

Also, are you using a DVI Dual Link cable? I believe it is supplied with one but I know of lazy people who just use their existing 'normal' DVI cable as it's already plugged into the PC.

Nice thought there.

OP you need a dual link cable as shown here:

im using the cable that came with the monitor. using a dual link but one of the pins in the middle is shorter than the rest, not sure if this is standard or.. getting the lg stuff, havent installed "those" drivers.

Used a thumbnail as the picure is far too big.

:D

Just right click on your monitor in Device Manager and select update driver.

Follow the process through to browse your computer for drivers and point it at the folder with the files you've just downloaded.

Select the driver and install it.

Try going into device manager, click on the monitor bit and updating the driver manually, pointing to where this new driver is located.

So if you right click on the desktop, select screen resolution, click on advanced settings and click on the monitor tab, you don't have 120Hz as a refresh rate option?

Edit:

Have you restarted the PC since installing the driver?
